Our factory successfully designed a horizontal continuous casting unit in the form of a converter on September 16, 2016. It adopts a split converter type structure of a vertical melting furnace and a holding furnace. The layout is composed of 1/2 melting furnace to 1 holding furnace. The electrical system power of the smelting furnace and holding furnace is designed according to the capacity. During production, the molten copper in the smelting furnace enters the furnace of the holding furnace through the converter to draw and cast, and through the matching crystallizer, a single-strand copper tube is cast, and then it is automatically sawed to the required length by an in-line sawing machine.
